a single or collection / cluster of hotels. The hotel property technologies
act as the conduit to the core of our customer record and therefore needs to
be protected at all times.
The Senior Manager| Hotel IT Audit & Security Compliance is the busines
partner and key liaison between hotels| our regional team and Internal Audi
who will oversee the various IT audit and compliance programs. You will
implement and enhance hotels| IT self-assessment and peer review programs as
well as technology operational audits. He / she will also help facilitate the
information Security Risk assessment of new third-party applications at the
properties. The Senior Manager will also work closely with the global Security
team to provide security education to the business and hotel operations. This
role reports directly to the VP| Field Technology Services – Asia Pacific.
What will I be doing?
As a Senior Manager| Hotel IT Audit & Security Compliance – Asia Pacific| you
will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest
standards:
Conduct independent and objective assessments of IT general audit controls and security compliance at owned| leased and managed hotels
Facilitate follow up on management action plans post internal audit or other reviews
Enhance the Hotel IT audit tools| documentation and checklist for hotels
Support all aspects of Internal and External Audit reviews to maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Hilton policies and procedure
Coordinate with Global Security team to develop and deliver regional IT audit and security awareness and compliance training programs
Assess and propose opportunities to enhance the hotel audit review program| with the ultimate goal to provide transparency on hotel audit compliance and security related issues| identify risks and vulnerabilities and remediation actions to be taken by the hotel
Design and deliver risk assessments to identify list of hotels as candidates for on-site hotel IT health check visit
Share best practices across hotels to include developing and rolling-out tools| templates| and methodologies
Identify common compliance challenges and themes across hotels| perform root cause analyses| and facilitate communication and training on proposed solutions
Facilitate the Information Security Risk assessment of new third-party applications at hotels
Support hotels on review and execution of procedures and controls to ensure compliance to applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as good business practices
Maintain open| two-way communication with Field Technology regional teams| provide oversight| and serve as advocate for Security at the Start philosophy
Stay knowledgeable of current advances in all areas of technology concerning audit| compliance| vulnerabilities| access control and overall security
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Bachelor|s Degree or relevant qualification
More than 7 years of relevant experience in IT audit and security work or IT hotel operations experience (preferably a combination of both)
Strong knowledge of SOX controls and internal controls in general
Ability to work in matrix environment with a geographically dispersed team
Strong business writing and communication skills
Ability to influence change
Working knowledge of hotel audit and security issues| techniques and implications across multiple applications
Strong administrative and organization skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word| PowerPoint| Excel.
Ability to travel as required (approximately 40%)
In-depth knowledge of Hotel Applications| Networking| Application Security (preferred)
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)| CISA Certification will be an advantage
