Job Summary
Prepare| review| and update flowsheets for equipment; communicate additions or
deletions; and ensure billing accuracy. Hang| rig| inspect| and repair
equipment in accordance with property rigging standards. Set-up| operate| and
troubleshoot AV/projection equipment/devices. Oversee the set-up of AV
equipment in banquet/meeting rooms. Ensure AV equipment is operational|
label/repair/clean when necessary. Tape down/dress loose wire/cable. Check
delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order. Assist and
instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV
equipment| up-sell AV services| and provide price quotes. Break-down| remove|
and secure equipment when not in use. Read| understand| and adhere to Marriott
Visual Productions (MVP program) SOP book. Assist management in training|
scheduling| and motivating employees; and serve as role model and first point
of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents| injuries| and unsafe
work conditions; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure
uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional| maintain
confidentiality of proprietary information| and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards| anticipate and
address guests| service needs| and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Speak with others using clear and professional language| prepare and review
written documents accurately and completely| and answer telephones using
appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships
with others| support team to reach common goals| and listen and respond
appropriately to employees| concerns. Ensure adherence to quality expectations
and standards| and identify| recommend| develop| and implement new ways to
increase organizational efficiency| productivity| quality| safety| and/or
cost-savings. Reach| grasp| turn| manipulate| move| lift| carry| push| pull|
or place objects weighing less than or equal to 75 pounds. Visually inspect
tools| equipment| or machines. Move up and down ladders/stairs/ramps| and over
uneven/slippery surfaces. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by
Supervisors.
