Job Summary
Preparation of design report- calculation- drawings- specification- cost estimation and details/ schedules for projects;
Applies industry standard practices and techniques in producing engineered solutions to specific project electrical issues;
Gathers and correlates basic electrical engineering data associated with assigned projects using established and well-defined procedures;
Exercises judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives;
Conduct electrical services site survey;
Assist Professional Engineer in liaison- preparation and follow up of Authority Submission;
Liaison with Client/ Architects/ Structural Engineers/ Mechanical Engineer/ QS etc. to produce the electrical building services system design from concept to detail design;
Assist Project Managers in up keeping the project ISO quality documentation and records.
Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.

Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.

Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.

Manages group of engineers and/or technicians- coordinating activities of the unit.

Minimum Requirements

Experience in BIM (REVIT) is preferred;

Registered Professional Engineer will be advantage;

Minimum 8 years hands-on electrical design experience in high-rise commercial/ residential development- preferably from the consultancy background;

Good project management and technical skills;

Display ability to execute complete- accurate and coordinated project design assignments on time and within budget. Understands overall project constraints including design budget limitations and schedule requirements;

Interact and communicate effectively with other team members and disciplines. Effective written and verbal communication skills a must;

Understanding of Electrical systems for commercial- government and institutional facilities including office tenant space- utilities and support facilities. This includes an understanding of electrical system load and short circuit analysis;

Understanding of lighting and lighting control systems for commercial- government and institutional facilities. This includes familiarity with lighting calculations- occupancy control- and application of state of the art materials to projects;

Familiarity with the National Electric Code;

Working knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor`s Degree in Electrical Engineering required;
