Supervise multiple retail outlets within a location. Direct the overall retail
efforts to create a proper merchandise mix| maximize sales and provide a
superior service atmosphere. Coordinate buying and pricing efforts for
appropriate retail categories in conjunction with Director. Work with
director| supervisors and employees to successfully execute retail operations|
continually improve guest service and employee satisfaction| and maximize the
financial performance of the department. Display merchandise| restock items|
and ticket merchandise with price or mark-downs. Follow proper inventory
system to conduct and reconcile merchandise inventory. Count and verify
merchandise orders upon receipt and document any shortages. Complete customer
purchases| process all payment types| and process returns| refunds| and
exchanges. Maintain appropriate cash levels in cash drawer| turn in all
property monies and receipts| and ensure deposits/cash drops are verified.
Follow checklist for opening and closing shop. Secure shop and monitor
customer activity to prevent losses due to merchandise theft and damage.
Assist management in hiring| training| scheduling| evaluating| counseling|
disciplining| and motivating and coaching employees and supervisors. Report
accidents| injuries| and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal
appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary
information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and
professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop
and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to
quality expectations and standards. Reach| bend| twist| pull| and stoop;
stand| sit| or walk for an extended period of time. Move| lift| carry| push|
pull| and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without
assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
