Job Summary
Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes- and other regulations
Develop project execution strategies- plans- scope- goals and deliverables
Prepare- review contracts and negotiate revisions- changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects- consultants- clients- suppliers and subcontractors
Visit construction sites and attend subcontractor progress meetings in order to have working knowledge of current project status and issues
Project evaluations and assessment of results
Lead and manage project design team
Manage project changes- budgets- qualities and timelines
Key client contact for project(s)
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-graduate working experience in the building construction industry- preferably in HDB projects
Possess Project Management and Construction Management experience with Developer- Consultant- Government Agencies- Contractor
Understand local building codes and authorities| requirements
Accredited with BCA e.g. BIM- Universal Design- GM etc
Familiar with GPEs` and Government`s procurement and award of tenders e.g. gateway process
Good communication and presentation skills. Able to speak and write English fluently
Independent and able to interface with Client/ Consultants/ Government Agencies / Contractors / Sub-Contractors / Suppliers
Knowledge in Programming & Scheduling- Risk Management- Environment Health and Safety Plan and ISO documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Possess an Architectural- Civil / Structural / Electrical / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering- Building Science- Project Management- Construction Management or other construction and engineering related degree;
The degree shall be recognised either by the respective Professional Bodies in Singapore (Board of Architects or Professional Engineering Board) or BCA;
