JOB SUMMARY

Partnering with Senior Manager| Talent Acquisition APEC and related discipline
heads| provide sourcing| recruiting and workforce planning support to the
designated discipline for the APEC region. Builds the organization’s edge on
direct sourcing capability and reduces the reliance on external recruitment
agencies. Surfacing internal candidates for career opportunities thru
effective workforce planning discussions and human capital planning process.
As a member of the continent Talent Acquisition and Management Solutions team|
participate in projects and assignments designated by Vice President Human
Resources| Talent Management Solutions| Asia Pacific and the Vice President of
Human Resources – APEC.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education

University degree required

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting| staffing and workforce planning

Combined experience at both recruitment agency and well-established corporate setting preferred

Previous experience working in a complex organization environment with matrix reporting structure

Asia Pacific market knowledge is a must

Expert in both finding talent| influencing| and creating exceptional experience which match internal / external candidates to Marriott’s Careers.

Preferred experience in recruiting and hiring managerial level candidates.

Skill and Competency

Up to date specialist skills in sourcing| recruiting| workforce planning and related technology

Skills and knowledge in using Taleo recruiting system and SAP performance management system

Full proficiency in English.

Well-rounded communication skills and positive work attitude are required

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Work together with the Senior Manager| Talent Acquisition| APEC in the recruitment and workforce planning process for designated discipline(s) for the APEC region.

Act as a true Business Partner with Management team to be able to identify needs| capability gaps (current and future)| opportunities and improvements and work towards bridging them through proactive talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies.

Own the recruitment of key positions and mapping strategies

Lead the human capital planning process including workforce planning meetings| talent reviews| regional HCP activities.to surface internal candidates for career opportunities and track status of HiPo talent’s personal development plan

Ensure a full pipeline of candidates through the publication of roles both internally and externally| and ensure a smooth process for all hiring managers and candidates

Work closely with the business side in order to fully understand the organization structure of teams

Identify new sourcing channels to support the various pipelines and talent needs in the region

Help actively drive all sourcing channels| including employee referrals| online job boards| social media| LinkedIn and utilization of vendors| campus hiring| etc.

Build| develop and cultivate various sourcing channels to support the direct sourcing strategy

Take active part in the full cycle of recruitment efforts| including emphasis on strong interview and assessment skills to effectively evaluate candidates and ensure the best fit
