Job Summary
Perform full range of legal administrative and operations support to our
Southeast Asia (SEA) Office and management. Assisting in corporate secretarial
duties. Administering AECOM Legal and Compliance systems. You will in your
role report to Chief Counsel- SEA and/or his delegate and be a member of the
AECOM SEA team where you will assist to provide legal support to the AECOM
business. You will be a member of the SEA Legal Team which consist of a high
performing and engaged group of lawyers and capable support personnel. You
will assist SEA Legal Counsel and Chief Counsel- SEA to liaise with you

internal stakeholders up- down and across the organisation in a proactive an

collaborative manner.

Complies with the AECOM Safety- Health & Environment (SH&E) policy by adopting work practices that support SH&E programs; taking reasonable care for own health and safety and that of others; seeking guidance for all new or modified work procedures; ensuring that any hazardous conditions- near misses and injuries are reported immediately; and participating in meetings- training and other SH&E activities as required

Financial/Project Management

Managing external lawyers and external legal costs

Internal Business

Member of the SEA Office of Risk Management and managing risk within SEA

Member of the SEA Legal Team and foster a can-do- collaborative and engaged team

Liaising with and support other SEA Support Services functions (eg. HR- IT- Finance)

Minimum Requirements

A recognised Bachelor`s degree in law and admission to practice in any of the SEA countries;

Working experience including experience working in a law firm or in an in-house legal team is a plus;

Post qualification experience including experience working within large multinational organisations would be a plus;

Excellent command of spoken and written English- possess strong attention to details- and be able to work as a good team player with positive service attitude;

Embrace a fast-paced working environment and able to cope with changes and react immediately to instructions and ability to multi-task;

Mature and pleasant- with good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a part of a team;

Flexible on coverage areas – as this person needs to pick up new things as the team and business areas grow;

Legal Counsel- or other similar experience is preferred;

Proven track record of being a supporting member of high performing in-house legal teams or similar legal firm experience would be a plus;

Demonstrated track record of adding value to a diverse and dynamic business

Demonstrable client focus and can do approach;

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of an organisation;

Company secretarial experience considered an advantage; and

Legal experience gained in working within the construction or engineering industry would also be considered an advantage
