Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the position is to build| maintain and grow the
relationship between Marriott and its most valuable customers. Acting as a
dedicated contact for the customer| the Ambassador will proactively ensure
that all stays at Marriott properties meet the individual need of the customer
and build a strong business relationship with the member in order to best
understand and fulfill their preferences.
Using independent judgment| the Ambassador is expected to work on behalf of
the customer to fulfill requests and resolve issues. The Ambassador receives
calls| faxes| emails and other communications from high value Marriott
customers and their representatives| hotel staff and other Marriott
associates. The Ambassador makes reservations| arranges and researches special
requests both related to and in between hotel stays| works with partners|
hotels and vendors to secure arrangements. Ambassadors are empowered to use
their discretion and good judgment to make decisions that affect their
customer and our company.
The Ambassador will receive calls from travel agents| customers|
administrative assistants| hotels and makes| modifies or cancels reservations.
The Ambassador learns individual preferences of customers and tailor services
accordingly in order to provide a personalized service. The Ambassador
provides information regarding all Marriott properties with an emphasis on
service. The position also provides concierge service including stay and non-
stay related services and arrangements and corresponds with customers
proactively as needed.
