Solutioning Practice Lead- IT Architecture
The Solutioning Practice Lead (SPL) is part of the Customs Services
Solutioning (CSS) for Dell Technologies Services. The Solutioning Practice
Lead acts as the subject matter expert and thought leadership advocate for
Dell Technologies Services- responsible for developing new capabilities-
managing and expanding the Support and Field Services as a custom service to
meet strategic customers` requirements.
Key responsibilities:
The SPL should have deep knowledge in their area of expertise and uses this to help develop custom solutions strategies- working closely with the business partners in Support and Field Services Delivery- Product Portfolio as well as internal Presales Solution Architects.
Adapts and integrates own experience with Dell-wide strategy. Analyzes and forecasts business and market trends- translating to upsell strategies for Custom Services Solutioning group.
Work with your global practice group- as a team to identify and implement specific joint action projects intended to improve the service and value delivered to both internal and external customers.
Coordinates and approves the definition of standardized reference architectures
Influences a broad spectrum of stakeholders toward achieving business goals.
Advises and councils key leadership on the latest principles- practices- and/or technologies and their practical application
Invest time in mentoring and coaching Presales Solution Architects in your practice- getting conversant with their strengths and technical skills as well as reviewing their work product
Lead in large pursuit opportunities that require |High-Touch| Solutioning
POC or Advisor for Global/Regional Deals
Leads the design of multiple service areas or technologies within a broader services solution to drive cohesive solution including Support- Deployment- Converged and Consulting Services
Articulate & defend overall solution construct in internal & external forums (including customer executive presentations)
Assessing service delivery cost driver attributes of complex services
Participates in applicable win-loss reviews and incorporate learnings into future solutions
Requirements:
15+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
5+ years of managerial/leadership experience
In-depth knowledge and experience in Technical Support and Warranty Management Services.
Proficient in multiple service areas and technologies.
Skills and experience in constructing complex service solutions in the IT services market.
Advanced understanding of services related processes and technologies.
Thorough understanding of services P&L and cash flow development and business impact.
In-depth knowledge of assessing operational risk on profitability and impacts to service delivery.
Experience in assessing service delivery cost driver attributes of complex services.
Complete understanding and ability to construct- tailor and negotiate service contracts (e.g. SOW ) for both customer engagement and partner provisioning.
Demonstrated and proven Consultative Selling- Communications- Presentation- Business/Financial Acumen- and Negotiations skills
Strong verbal and writing communications skills
Global and/or regional experience
