Job Summary
Assists with regular in-house training on model authoring softwares
Looks into the company`s BIM Project Deployment Plan and develop BIM Project Execution Plans- BIM collaboration- documentation- enforcement- monitoring and workflow to meet the project requirements
Ensures guidelines for internal and external model exchanges between project stakeholders are followed and monitor its progress
Works closely with all other departments and project teams to provide solutions for BIM related technical issues- assisting project and design teams with overall BIM implementation
Manages the creation and maintenance of master model- run and analyse clash detection on master model- prepare and distribute reports on clashes to facilitate the coordination process
Prepares and distributes reports on clashes to facilitate the coordination process- communicating all conflicts to the project teams. Regularly meet with key project staff to update on progress
Documents meeting minutes highlighting key action point- and ensuring that the issues highlighted are resolved- concluded and monitored for resolution provided by the design team
Develops and maintains company|s BIM standard and library
Provides both managerial and technical leadership to the BIM coordinators and modelers Supports reporting manager in driving various initiatives to realise the company long-term vision of BIM application and integration of various BIM models and platforms
Maintains high level of competency of software through continued use- training and assist project team on the implementation of BIM softwares
Any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by reporting manager
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years` experience in BIM Management within engineering and construction business; exposure to different scales of projects are highly preferred
Prior track record in successful implementation of BIM Project Execution Plan for at least 2 BIM projects
Experienced in leading a team of BIM Modelers for various projects
Good understanding of Singapore BCA e-submission and guidelines
Well versed in various BIM Platforms such as Autodesk Revit- Bentley AECOsim- InRoads- OpenRoads- Civil 3D- TEKLA etc.- with in-depth knowledge in at least one of the listed software package
Working knowledge of MS Office tools with good graphic presentation skills
Knowledge in construction engineering (Civil and Structural)
Multi-tasker- independent- proactive and adapts well to fast pace environment
Technologically forward-looking
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Civil / Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines
Additional Professional Certifications in BIM Applications / BIM Management are highly desirable
