Business Analyst
Reporting to the Procurement Director (Services)- this position will support
sourcing and supplier management strategy. The individual will be responsible
for spending- cost data collection and analysis. Working closely with Global
Commodity Management and Global Supply Management team- this individual will
have to work diligently and autonomously- and use strong business and
financial acumen skills and analysis skills to determine the right decisions
for Corporate Dell.

end users- business needs and processes. From analyzing- evaluating and
documenting requirements through to specifying solutions- we strive to improve
processes and maximize potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of a three-year strategy and planning process (long-range roadmaps- capacity analysis- etc.) for selected commodities.
Lead value chain analysis process for their commodity supply chains.
Collect product cost data as appropriate.
Report commodity cost and price variance monthly.
Creates financial spend plans- with supporting document on strategic initiatives to ensure delivery of the numbers.
Identify cost targets for relevant roadmap products.
Support to develop commodity strategy document.
Support to establish current business requirements and service strategy.
Participates in RTS readiness price review- post-mortem analysis- and process updates to support new products.
Essential Requirements
Minimum Bachelor`s degree
Oral and written fluency in English.
Oral fluency in Mandarin
2 years in Procurement and supply chain management.
Thorough computer skills.
Thorough data analysis skills.
Good communication- alignment with cross functional team.
Able to work on multiple tasks and understand priorities and able to communicate.
Thorough price/cost analysis skills.
Good strategic/long-Range planning skills.
Extensive and specialized knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed by various procurement departments/disciplines. Extensive and specialized knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-Procurement processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with senior management.
A team player.
Independent and responsible.
