Design Validation on latest 3D-NAND products
_Description_
Working in the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) NAND Product Engineering
organization at Micron Technology- Inc.- the intern will be part of a
brilliant team of engineers that solves complex problems. The organization is
responsible for enabling Micron`s NAND products with seamless and issue free
release to both internal and external non-volatile system customers. Within
the department- the intern will be in the NAND FDV (Functional Design
Validation) team- and have 1st-hand experience in validation projects of
Micron|s latest 3D-NAND designs on silicon- using high-speed testers.
_Scope_
During the internship- the intern will have hands-on experience working wit
the FDV engineers to learn about new designs/features via datasheet- develo
novel test algorithms and tester patterns to validate the features- do the
actual validation on silicon- and perform electrical failure analysis. Besides
the datasheet- new test cases can be derived from sequence combination
expansion- as well as actual system usage. The intern may also be involved in
developing scripts/programs for automation and efficiency improvement
purposes.
_Deliverable_
For new design/feature validation- develop new testing algorithms and tester
patterns- as well as generate the respective results. Issue analysis reports
can result for new design issues found from the new test cases. For automation
efforts- new scripts or programs are expect to be generated and deployed.
