Requirements for the role:

Minimum 1-2 years of data center specific or data backup sales experience as a specialist
Requires intermediate field sales experience and possesses strong financial/business and pricing knowledge
Analyses multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommends appropriate solution
General understanding of the data protection- network/cyber security space
Ability and willingness to maintain deep technical expertise as a specialist overlay
Experience executing demand gen programs into targeted accounts
Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
Willingness and passion to learn more about the unstructured data market including technologies- trends- and the competitive landscape
Support from key references
Ability to work with multiple stakeholder within the organization

Additional Experience (Not Required):

Solid technical understand of key data center components (Compute- Network- Storage)
Solid foundation in virtualization preferably VMWare and Hyper V
Experience selling competitive products i.e. Commvault- Veritas- Veeam- Unitrends- Barracuda
Experience in the cyber security and network security space Fortinet- Sonicwall- Rapid7 etc.
Experience in channel eco system

Key Responsibilities

Provide value-added insights through world-class analytics and real-time reporting
Design- create- deploy and maintain BI dashboards
Conduct thorough data analysis- help design and implement analytics programs- help operations and sales personnel to make informed- data-driven decisions
Collaborate effectively with various teams throughout the organization to ensure best practices and existing knowledge are leveraged and put to use

Essential Requirements

Bachelor|sdegreein computer science- software/computer engineering- applied math- physics- statistics or a related field
At least 4 years of relevant field experience
Database architecture and data warehousing.
Database solution languages- especially MS SQL and PostgreSQL
