Job Summary
Inspection and supervise Contractor`s works and ensure standard of material- workmanships- quality control of all civil / structural works are satisfactorily achieved.
Keep proper record of all works including but not limited to tests- inspections- minutes of site meeting.
Monitor and report on the works progress and highlight to S.O. any delay by Contractor and get Contractor to submit mitigation measures.
Liaise with specialist contractor and Contractor on the geotechnical instrumentation installation and monitoring for ERSS works.
To check all drawings and Specifications and ensure the latest copy is kept in site office at all times.
To check and sign off Daily- Weekly and Monthly Site reports submitted by Contractor.
To resolve site problems raised by Contractors and seek QP`s consent on the solution if necessary.
To supervise and manage a team of RTO for the supervision and inspection of all ERSS works and C&S works.
Minimum Requirements

Experience in deep excavation – inspection and supervision of underground r.c. structure using cut & cover construction method- JGP- bored piling- sheet piling- excavation with strutting- instrumentation for monitoring of earth retaining structure and ground movement.

Structural and geotechnical design experience is an added advantage.

Registered RE with IES/ACES

Good report writing skill

Well versed in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.

Role & Responsibilities
Work as the EMC storage subject matter expert (SME) and provide technical guidance to the deployment engineer (DE) co-workers.
Work with services sales team to provide scope of work and effort sizing for deployment services.
Work with customer to gather requirements- provide network design and configuration of the network solution.
Install- configure and test storage systems including but not limited to Unity- RecoverPoint- EMC DataProtection and Data Domain.
Act as the EMC storage escalation point and help the deployment team members on troubleshooting when necessary.
Provide project documentation.
Provide knowledge transfer to customer IT staff after completing deployment.
Required Experience
Degree in Computer Science- Information Systems or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience on EMC storage design and implementation

Excellent knowledge of existing industry standards- technologies and operational norms across both storage and systems technologies- in depth knowledge of networking technologies a plus

Experience with VMware virtualization- Microsoft- SAN and replication technologies required

EMC certified Platform Engineer or equivalent required

Hands on experience with RecoverPoint- Unity and Data Domain is required

Ability to manage multiple- often competing- priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on strict deadlines.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information- both verbal and written- to a wide range of end-users- including non-technical users.
Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good technical- analytical and interpersonal skills.

The Resident Delivery Specialist provides operational support and guidance to
customers to support the management and use of DELL_EMC backup solutions.
Responsible for performing a wide variety of daily Backup tasks as well as
providing recommendations for effective and efficient Backup system use.

_PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_

_SKILLS_

Minimum 8 Years` Experience.
For government customer site assignment- required CAT2 Clearance
Level 2 or Level 3 System Administration in Unix flavors such as Solaris or HPUX or AIX or Linux Redhat.
Data Migration skill set using host based utilities such as LVM Mirroring- VxVM Mirroring and etc.
Knowledge in SAN/EMC Products is advantageous.
Knowledge in VMWare/Virtualizationadded Advantageous.
