The Data Protection Division (DPD) Business Strategy and Operations

organization supports a highly valuable Data Protection business. The team`

charter is to accelerate financial performance and share gains by driving th

end-to-end strategic business growth direction and orchestrating product an

sales enablement to better position a modern data-first protection portfoli

so that customers can unlock the value of their most important asset –
information.

This position will be part of the Regional Business Operations team and
will be the main business unit liaison to regional teams (Sales- CoC- GBO) in
APJ to ensure the execution of DPD business agenda. S/he will lead a small
team to orchestrate DPD priorities and initiatives and track their execution –
driving collaboration and accountability among regional stakeholders to
accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Programmatically orchestrate- enable and track the regional execution plan of DPD Integrated Operating Plan (IOP) and strategic initiatives.
Develop rigorous strategic and analytical frameworks to identify and address regional business issues and opportunities.
Drives collaboration and alignment with critical Data Protection stakeholders in the region – from Specialty and core Sales to CoC PLM/FMM to GBO.
Identifies- tracks and measures key leading / lagging indicators to proactively assess trends and report business performance. Responsible for root-cause and corrective action.
Partners with the regional business and the DPD Business Growth and Analytics team in identifying and defining long term growth plans.
Supports the development of end-to-end capabilities necessary in region to achieve objectives and ensures gaps are closed.

Essential Requirements:

The candidate is expected to have:

7-10 plus years of relevant work experience in go-to-market or similar roles with high bias towards execution. MBA or similar graduate-level degree.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally within the team and across functional organizations to drive win-win solutions.
Strong business acumen and understanding of Dell processes and systems capabilities.
Solid analytical skills and the ability to work with complex datasets to produce actionable business analytics at account and sales maker level.
Exceptional business communication- content creation and strategic presentation skills.
Proven track record in delivering and managing multiple projects and priorities producing clear business results and demanding both rigorous attention to detail and high-level comprehensive solution.
Comfortable in ambiguous situations- with high drive and tendency to take the lead to influence others- drive action and deliver results.

Desirable experiences:

Domain expertise: Storage- Servers- Security or Data Protection
Previous experience in organizations like Sales Strategy and Planning- CoC- Global Business Operations- Sales Operations- or similar.

Roles and responsibilities

Provide data science services and work with stakeholders to assess demands and suggest data science methods that provide practical, value-added answers for the company.

Comfortable with or are highly motivated to learn and apply database tools and statistical predictive models by analyzing large datasets with a variety of tools (R, Python, SQL, Microstrategy, Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau)

Overview of the role:

As a Data Protection Territory Manager you will be responsible for driving
